Lifelong athlete, Don "D" Hinson, is competitive and always looking for new ways to push himself and his fitness. You can usually find this self-described gym rat in the weight room, boxing gym, or on the basketball court. D decided to forgo weight training to train like a boxer to get a chiseled physic. That was five years ago, and now he's boxing and training others.

“I'm a health freak and love to work out. Boxing is an incredible workout I use to get fit but I am very competitive. As I began to excel I had to compete. I won the novice division in my weight class in 2008 Golden Gloves, and with Melvin as my trainer the sky is the limit,” he says.

As D's dedication grew for boxing, he took it to another level and began training others. As a personal trainer, he has a passion for getting people in-shape to look and feel healthy. He combines his education with the techniques he's learned in the ring and by fellow TITLE Boxing Club trainers for an unpredictable POWER HOUR workout.

"I will push you to the limit and you're going to love to hate me for it. There are no excuses, you've got to want it, and have to do what it takes to get it. Discipline, dedication, and determination bring success. All you have to do is implement those three words and success will follow. And when you excel in my POWER HOUR, those accomplishments will carry over into your life and make you a better person", says Don.

D will push you as much as he pushes himself. In fact, don't be surprised if you see him standing next to you on the heavy bag taking a class. He is always learning and absorbing by doing, and leading by example.

"Members are often shocked to see me in a class but I take them to keep myself fit and to try new things. And I know when I'm training I can make it look easy but I'm not doing all the reps. When members see me in class they realize I am human, I get fatigued and I have to push myself. It lets them know to give it your all and push it to the limit,” he says.

Whether you're just getting off the couch to start a fitness program or you're a conditioned athlete, D wants to see you in his POWER HOUR class or face-to-face for personal training. He will work with you to help you reach your goals, but be prepared to work.

"You've got to shock your body by making it do things it's not used to doing to transform it the fastest. When you push yourself, the pounds will come off," he says.
