Title Boxing Club Boxing Asst. General Manager Jason Lawson

Jason Lawson

Asst. General Manager + Kickboxing Trainer

At four feet, 11 inches and 120 pounds, Jason Lawson was the “little guy” in high school. So at the age of 17, he discovered Martial Arts. Several years later, Jason grew a foot and gained 40 pounds of lean muscle through kickboxing and full contact Karate. Today you'll find him at TITLE Boxing Club as the Assistant Manager and kickboxing trainer at the Lee's Summit gym.

This hometown boy (he graduated Lee's Summit High School in 1993) is an internationally ranked second degree black belt in Taekwondo and is an internationally ranked instructor by the World Taekwondo Federation. He has also studied Krav Maga and Karate. Jason also enjoyed thrilling crowds of up to 100 as a member of the World Martial Arts demonstration team. Having taught for several years, Jason enjoys motivating people to succeed.

“When people get results, they build their self-confidence and self–esteem,” says Jason. “You can actually see it in the way they carry themselves.”

Not content to succeed at just one thing, Jason is a certified firefighter (he was squad leader at the fire academy), past volunteer Lake Lotawana firefighter, and a talented carpenter. He does extreme–styled skate board stunts, was a high school gymnast and played soccer for ten years. He knows Marital Arts weapons and has earned many medals and trophies at karate tournaments, too.

Always ready with a smile, Jason will get you moving with energetic kickboxing Power Hour fitness classes. Using his upbeat, inspirational style, he'll keep your legs and arms moving as you punch, kick and jab your way through his effective hour-long total body workout.
