Title Boxing Club General Manager - Danny Campbell

Managing Partner

Danny Campbell entered the world of boxing in 1966. Since that time, he boxed professionally, promoted boxing, announced boxing and starred in how-to boxing fitness tapes. Over the years he has enjoyed this sport to the fullest. To understand his love of boxing and fitness, you must start from the beginning.

During his amateur career, Danny won the Kansas City Silvermittens and the Kansas City Golden Gloves four times each. With such success, he entered professional boxing. As a pro, his record was 14-1; 12 of those knockouts.

After injury forced him to retire, Danny left the ring but not the sport. As a promoter, Danny's drive led him to become the number one promoter for Toughman, including heading up the world championship events. From there, he went on to produce local Ballroom Boxing shows across the Midwest boasting sold out shows for six consecutive years with shows every six weeks.

What's more, Danny found himself in the ring again—as an announcer and a referee. His voice was heard on HBO Boxing After Dark, ESPN, USA Tuesday Night Fights, Cedric Kushner Sports Network and ABCs Wide World of Sports. As a referee, Danny presided over more than 1,000 professional boxing matches, most notably local Kansas City world champion Tommy “The Duke” Morrison vs. Michael Bennett for the Heavyweight Championship of the World; every Toughman bout during one event at the Atlantic City, New Jersey Trump Tower; and 15 fights on Showtime Event Television. Plus, Danny was called on for double duty as the promoter and announcer for the HBO events in New York City's Madison Square Gardens; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Atlantic City, New Jersey.

So how does a man with all this experience take his career to another level? He comes home to team up with locally owned TITLE Boxing to open the first boxing, kickboxing and MMA fitness center in Kansas City. You'll find him at the gym teaching fitness classes and introducing people to the fitness craze sweeping the nation.
