Eric Asher

In high school, Eric Asher and his buddies would get together every week to watch the fights, betting on their favorites. Over time, Eric realized that if HE loved boxing that much, there had to be something in it for him too. Twenty years ago he entered the gym and never looked back, turning pro in 2003. Now, he’s bringing his experience and technique to TITLE Boxing Club.

Eric started boxing in 1991 as an amateur until 2003 when he turned pro. As an amateur, he won the Arizona state championship, Arizona Golden Gloves, and several tri-state regional titles. He has fought in four national tournaments and ten pro fights. Four years ago, Eric started teaching group training classes with Phil Vaughan.

“There is no workout that can compare to a boxing workout,” says Eric. “It’s a true total body workout, working muscles you didn’t even you know you had.”

Now Eric is training at TITLE Boxing Club, sharing his love for the sport and his skill and philosophy for physical fitness.

“I want to KO the lazy lifestyle. I’m pro-health, using positivity to combat the ease of being lazy minded,” he says. “And hitting bags and mitts is different than anything else like the treadmill or dull routines that are easy to repeat without much results. And it’s a great stress reliever.”

While Eric is passionate about knocking out laziness, he does it with an easy going, personable, and motivating style to help members get the most out of his classes. During his POWER HOUR, he’ll make sure each member is using the right technique to truly experience the sensation of a boxing workout.

“Everyone can be a real star without fighting anyone. They can learn technique and feel empowered with boxing,” he says.

Eric wants to show you just how empowering boxing can be in his next POWER HOUR boxing workout class or by scheduling a private one-on-one training session. Check the schedule for his next class today.
