We offer 29 boxing and kickboxing POWER HOUR classes each week lead by real boxers (we are continuing to add classes as requested). You can burn up to 1,000 calories in one POWER HOUR.
Each POWER HOUR is structured the same way:
1. The first 15 minutes is the warm up: Full body stretching, jogging, calisthenics, jumping, lunging, and squats. The purpose is to get your heart rate up.
2. The next 30 minutes is on the heavy bag boxing and kickboxing. This section consists of 8 three minute rounds that are basic boxing and kickboxing combinations (easy to learn) with a one minute active rest. The active rest allows you to take a break without dropping your heart rate.
3. The last 15 minutes is core work. Using a medicine ball and body resistance we finish the workout strong by sculpting your body.
What you need for class: Workout clothes. We will provide loaner wraps and gloves!! Or you can buy your own at the club.
