John McGee

John is a former high school varsity and collegiate football and baseball player. John played football and baseball at Marist High School, then continued his baseball career at Kankakee Community College, and Judson College. Trained by his father at a very young age, John's boxing career began in his family's garage. John's passion for the sport, grew as he started competing at the age of  18. John participated in Chicago Golden Gloves, Chicago Youth Organization Tournaments, and various boxing shows around the Chicago land area. John currently works for the Cook County Sherriff's Department, and in 2009, won the Illinois Super Cop Heavyweight Title. John holds a USA Amateur boxing coaching license. John believes boxing is not only a great way to get in shape, but it is a way of life.
