Garrett Alsup

Garrett Alsup was your typical high school athlete, competing at the varsity level in football, basketball, track, cross country, and baseball.  Excelling in track and field, his 4x800 meter relay team qualified for state competition in 2007.  Always wanting to learn new things, Garrett decided to take martial arts lessons in 2008.  Eight months later, he earned his green belt in Shinka Shodan under Chris Yates at Northwest Martial Arts in Tarkio, MO.  After graduation in 2009, Garrett took his training to the next level.  Wanting to compete as a mixed martial artist, he was at the gym every day.  After a 33 second knock out in his debut in August of 2010, he went on to stop his next 2 opponents in the first round.  Garrett recently made a move to Parkville, MO to become a trainer at Title Boxing Club. He is constantly challenging not only the students, but his self as well to come up with new and exciting workouts.  Long term goals for Garrett include going pro as a mixed martial artist, and earning a college degree.
