“I want to live an extraordinary life and inspire others to do the same - I believe fitness to be the best rector with which to do this,” Dakota said.
Dakota began boxing in 2004 to build self-confidence, but the taste of one discipline was not enough. He soon ventured on to other aspects of the mixed martial arts world, finding a strong foothold in Jiu Jitsu.
After discovering his passion for all things MMA, he competed in the Pan American Championships in Los Angeles in 2011. While working under the tutelage of Muay Thai legend Saekson Janjira, Dakota earned his green fighters band.
“My personal passion is to discover myself in all realms of life and to allow my heart to guide what I do. If I’m scared of it, then I’ll probably do it,” Dakota said.
Dakota’s ability to inspire, teach, and guide people down a healthy path is a huge personal motivator. “I love teaching and working with people; watching them achieve goals they once thought impossible,” Dakota said.
