Karen received her membership as a birthday gift back in August, and has been hitting it hard ever since.

"My very first class was kickboxing with Jim Brown-it was tough and good," she says. "I mix it up between kickboxing and boxing to get the most all over workout I can."

According to Karen, kickboxing gives her an overall workout while boxing is a better cardio workout with more focus on her upper body. And for a runner who occasionally cycles, cardio endurance is important.

"My endurance is better than it's ever been," she says. "And I was really excited after a recent physical revealed I have the lowest blood pressure I've ever had. I don't have any blood pressure issues, but I was surprised and very pleased."

She's been able to build her endurance, tone her body and lower her blood pressure by changing workouts and trainers. She says switching up trainers is always great since each offers a different style of workout.

She says Will offers what she calls the boot camp workout, where he's yelling and telling you what to do to keep you moving and motivated. Dave provides the strong workout, coming around to each member working with you on technique to make sure every punch is as strong and impactful as possible. Ryan is always pushing the envelope with new moves you think are impossible to do, but can master with practice.

"There isn't an instructor at TITLE Boxing Club I haven't liked," says Karen. "Every POWER HOUR workout is intense but fun so the time flies by. I've actually been shaking when I've left before from working so hard. But it's very challenging and I love it."

In addition to fun, Karen finds her workouts are the perfect mental release from her hectic days.

"Fitness is what I need in my life to keep me sane between the kids and my schedule," she explains. "This is a great release for me to kick and punch the heck out of a bag. Working out has become a necessary part of my life, one I miss when I can't go."
