Cory Boxberger

"Ever since I can remember I have been playing every kind of sport. I started wrestling when I was about eight years old, and eventually progressed into playing football, then basketball, then baseball, and soccer in high school. I always loved running and exercising, growing up I would always run with my dad, and it kept me in great shape, and was a good way to keep me out of trouble for the most part. Although I love running and playing sports I naturally gravitated towards martial arts. I became interested in every kind of traditional martial arts from karate, to muay thai, to jiujitsu, I would read books as well as take classes anywhere I could. After my first two years of college I earned my personal training certification which I also employ in my workouts. I continually try to make them as hard and as fun as possible.
Growing up my hero was Bruce Lee, I really gained interest in his philosophy of using all styles, being able to flow naturally with knowledge from every traditional and non traditional style. It is because of this reason that I continue to learn and progress every day, teaching these classes really helps me grow in my technique and conditioning as well. Running each class is definitely my favorite part of my day, I look forward to working with people and teaching them what I know, and especially the new things that I am learning every day working with people like Chris and Manny."
