Coach Michelle
Biography
Hey, I'm Michelle! I'm a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and lifelong athlete who believes there's always another level to chase. My athletic background has taken me through wrestling, CrossFit, powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, strongman, bodybuilding, and now boxing. I love being challenged, learning new skills, and finding out what I'm capable of. As a coach, I want to bring that same energy to every class. Expect hard work and a coach who's right there pushing you to finish what you started.
My Personal Mantra
Never let the fear of starting stop you from finding out what you're capable of.
My Training Style Is
High energy, challenging, and purposeful. I love combining strength, conditioning, technique, and a little bit of grit. I'll push you outside your comfort zone, but I'll also make sure you understand what you're doing and why. You don't have to be the best person in the room. You just have to be willing to work.
My Why
I coach because training has given me confidence, discipline, and strength that carries beyond the gym and I want other people to experience that too. There's something so powerful about watching someone do something they didn't think they could ever do.
What Gives Me My Fighting Spirit
Knowing there's always something I can improve. I've been the beginner more times than I can count, and every new sport has taught me that being uncomfortable is part of getting better. I'm competitive, I love a challenge, and when something is hard, it usually makes me want to work at it even more.
Coach Todd
Biography
My name is Todd. I started at Title Boxing Club as a member to help me train for a marathon, and quickly became a passion of mine. I am originally from Daytona Beach. I grew up with a very diverse athletic background and was raised watching the likenesses of many elite fighters like Mayweather, Canelo, and Pacquiao, immediately peaking my interest in the sport. Boxing has done wonders for my mental health and lifestyle and can't wait to help pay it forward to new members just as it was done for me by the other great coaches at the gym!
My Personal Mantra
If the mind is willing, the body is capable!
My Training Style Is
Heart
My Why
My family and more specifically my mother has battled heart conditions throughout my life. I have since poured my effort into mastering cardio. Boxing has been symbolic for not only training cardio, but reminding myself every day to continue to fight for every minute and every opportunity that is put in front of me.
What Gives Me My Fighting Spirit
My fighting spirit comes from the journey of getting incrementally better every single day, one step, one drill, and one punch at a time.
Coach Henry
Biography
I'm Henry Mendez, a franchise partner and owner of TITLE Boxing Club Jacksonville. My training background comes from Muay Thai, Krav Maga, boxing, and functional fitness, with a focus on using combat-based training to build real-world strength, conditioning, confidence, and resilience. I believe combat fitness is about more than throwing punches-it's about learning to stay composed under pressure, push through discomfort, and develop the physical and mental toughness to handle whatever comes next.
My Personal Mantra
You don't have to be the strongest person in the room. You just have to be willing to keep showing up.
My Training Style Is
My training style is rooted in discipline, intensity, and purpose. I believe training should challenge you without breaking you. Whether it's boxing, strength and conditioning, or functional movement, I focus on proper technique, consistency, and pushing beyond what you thought you were capable of.
My Why
I believe fitness should change more than your body. It should change how you feel, how you think, and how you show up in the world. I want TITLE Boxing Club to be a place where people can walk through the doors having a bad day and walk out feeling stronger, more confident, and part of something bigger than themselves.
What Gives Me My Fighting Spirit
Resilience. Life doesn't always go according to plan, and neither does training. I've learned that setbacks, challenges, and uncomfortable moments are where growth happens. My fighting spirit comes from refusing to quit, continuing to move forward, and knowing that there's always another round to fight.
Coach Alexa
Biography
Hi I'm Alexa! Born and raised in Orlando but moved to Atlantic Beach only 3 years ago. Fitness has been a part of my life for the past 15 years, and with boxing being at the center of it for the last 12. I was a personal trainer at LA fitness for 5 years and coached at boxing gyms all over Orlando. I started my Muay Thai journey at the UFC gym in Winter Springs, training with Mike Perry before he became Platinum. What started as a exciting new passion quickly became a lifestyle, and eventually something I knew I wanted to share with others.
My Personal Mantra
My mantra would be "Be better than you were yesterday". You don't have to be perfect, you just have to keep showing up, be open to learning and keep pushing yourself everyday. I coach because I genuinely love motivating people, teaching them something exciting and new. Watching their confidence grow, is something that never gets old. There is truly something special about a hard workout that leaves you exhausted, smiling and feeling accomplished.
My Training Style Is
I'm all about technique, movement, power, conditioning and pushing past the point where you think you're done. I love mixing technique with intensity and making every round challenging but most importantly fun! I believe that boxing should make you feel strong and confident whether you are stepping into the gym for the first time or looking to take your skills to the next level.
My Why
Boxing has taught me that the fight isn't just about what happens in the ring or at your bag, it's about how you show up for yourself every single day.
What Gives Me My Fighting Spirit
What gives me my fighting spirit is the constant pursuit of growth. I believe there is always another level to reach, another challenge to overcome, and a stronger version of yourself waiting on the other side of YOU. Boxing has taught me that the fight isn't just about what happens in the ring or at your bag, it's about how you show up for yourself every single day. Let's work. Let's sweat. Let's have some fun and become a little stronger together every round!
